  19.                 last logon. Hopefully we have it fixed this time.

  21.                 If you did not supply the Profile CFG file name on the command 
  22.                 line when executing PROFMANT, you were presented with an error
  23.                 message that you would not understand. A better message is now
  24.                 presented, along with an example execution entry.

  26.                 If the last user in the database had a picture attached and a 
  27.                 new user was added to the database, the new user profile would 
  28.                 pick up the picture name of the last user.

  31.         [v1.4]  If you place a file called WELCOME in the Profile directory, it
  32.                 will be displayed IMMEDIATELY following the opening screen.

  34.                 In an effort to help with the user inputting random characters 
  35.                 (!@#$%, etc) we have added an OPTIONAL file called CHAR.OK. The 
  36.                 file will contain ONLY VALID CHARACTERS you wish to allow the 
  37.                 caller to use when responding to the questions. If the file, 
  38.                 CHAR.OK, is not found in the PROFILE directory, no checking 
  39.                 will take place. We have included a sample file containing 
  40.                 valid Alpha and Numeric values.

  42.                 When viewing an individual Profile, the caller will no longer 
  43.                 be asked if the want New profiles since last logon.

  46.         [v1.3]  To help eliminate the use of language that may be offensive to 
  47.                 other callers, we have now allowed for the creation of a TRASH 
  48.                 CAN file (PROFTCAN.DAT). You would fill this file with words 
  49.                 that you do NOT want to allow the caller to enter in response 
  50.                 to ANY of the questions. See DOCs for more information.

  52.                 With this version we introduce a new feature that allows for 
  53.                 the attachment, and subsequent downloading, of a PICTURE file.
  54.                 The Caller uploads the picture (any format(s) you desire), you
  55.                 'attach' it to the caller's profile vai the PROFMAINT program.
  56.                 REQUIRES: PROTOCOL.DAT file (included) AND protocol BATCH
  57.                           files found in PROBATCH.ZIP

  59.                 Sysop will now have the ability to EDIT ANY PROFILE. A SYSOP 
  60.                 option will appear on the main menu when the Sysop is using 
  61.                 the Door.

  63.                 When the (V)iew option is chosen the caller will have the 
  64.                 option of displaying the profiles in a DETAILED or SUMMARY 
  65.                 fashion. If the SUMMARY option is chosen the caller can chose 
  66.                 the one(s) they wish to have displayed in DETAIL.

  69.         [v1.2]  Eliminated the 'ANSI not detected....' message since there are
  70.                 a few communications packages out there that give off their
  71.                 own type of ANSI.
  72.  
  73.                 If using the TRIBBS.SYS system file, the door always presented
  74.                 the opening screen in black and white. Will now be presented
  75.                 in color.
  76.  
  77.                 The Door knows that the caller is the Sysop, if the caller is
  78.                 record #1 in the BBS' user database. The BBS software passes
  79.                 that record number to the door via the system file. Some BBS
  80.                 software does not pass the actual record number but passes a
  81.                 relative number (ie: record #1 is passed as record #0). If the
  82.                 number being passsed is 0, the Door will not know it is the
  83.                 Sysop calling. We will now recognize the caller as the Sysop
  84.                 if their record number is 0 or 1.
  85.  
  86.                 When displaying user profiles you are asked if you wish to
  87.                 continue or Exit after each profile is displayed. If you
  88.                 replied 'e' your response would be ignored, as it was looking
  89.                 for an uppercase response. This has been fixed to allowed
  90.                 upper OR lowercase responses.
  91.  
  92.                 When viewing profiles, and the caller chooses to view ALL, the 
  93.                 caller will be asked if they wish to view only NEW/UPDATED 
  94.                 profiles since the caller's last time in the door.
  95.  
  96.                 With this version you will be able to supply a user's name on 
  97.                 the Command line, and the program will search for that user's 
  98.                 record, display it and return to the BBS. The best way to use 
  99.                 this option, which may not be adaptable to every BBS software 
  100.                 system, is to have a an entry on the main menu (call it PROFILE)
  101.                 and using script type languages, ask the caller for a name to
  102.                 look for. You would then pass that name to the PROFILE command
  103.                 line. After displaying the caller's profile the caller will be
  104.                 taken back to the BBS. See PROFILE.DOC for more information.

  106.                 Added an option to the Profile maintenance program that allows 
  107.                 the Sysop to reset the answers to all questions in all user 
  108.                 records. When the caller next accesses the door, he/she will be 
  109.                 forced to re-answer the questions. In addition they will be 
  110.                 presented with an ASCII text file that should be used to 
  111.                 explain why the caller is being asked to re-answer the 
  112.                 questions (if the file is not found nothing will be displayed).
